Feature requests

Has Pactor message encryption been considered? Because my usage of SafecomLink is in the amateur bands where signal encryption is disallowed, my suggestion doesn’t have any application that I’d be able to use. However, for commercial users encryption might be a useful feature. Of course, it would like require an “Encrypt On/Encrypt Off” switch.

Known to some but perhaps not to all Pactor users, the DR7xxx Dragon series can be licensed for AES-256 Encryption alone or combined with the ALE license. For those who might not know, the encryption feature in the Dragon is modem-to-modem where data into and out of the modem is “in the clear”.

Just a thought …
