The SafecomLink Gestures feature allows operators to enrich their live chat experience by easily triggering sounds, visual effects, and emojis using simple text codes.
Key Value Proposition
Gestures inject a lively, informative, and colorful experience into radio chat, fostering a more engaging and expressive communication session.
Operational Details and Benefits
Activation: Gestures are triggered when specific predefined strings are typed as part of the chat message.
Categories of Gestures:
Emojis: Typing tags like HIHI!, TU! (Thank You), LIKE!, BYE!, COOL!, and FB! triggers corresponding emojis. Emojis are also supported as part of the live chat features.
Sounds: Gestures can play audible alerts on the partner's side, which are also listed under the "Sounds" settings. For example, DING plays a "DING" sound, and RING! plays three phone ring sounds to drag operator attention.
Customization and Control:
The overall functionality can be enabled or disabled via the Visual gestures setting found under the "Appearance and Sounds"
Gestures and other available Tags are cataloged and accessible by clicking the "Gestures/Tags" button in the message input area.
